ছোটবেলায় স্কুলের বইয়ের নিচে লুকিয়ে লুকিয়ে গণিত খাতায় কার্টুন আঁকার চেষ্টা করতাম, ক্লাসের বন্ধুদের নিয়ে মজার গল্প লিখতাম। গণিত খাতার পাতাগুলোতেই আঁকার মত জায়গা পাওয়া যেত! সেটাই হয়তো বড়বেলায় এসে প্রফেশনাল রূপ পেয়েছে। ২০১৩ সাল থেকে যুক্ত আছি প্রফেশনাল কন্টেন্ট রাইটিং এর সাথে। আগে শখের বশে কার্টুন আঁকলেও ২০১৮ সাল থেকে আঁকাআঁকিটাকেও সিরিয়াসলি নেয়ার চেষ্টা করছি। এই ৯ বছরের যাত্রাপথে কাজ করেছি দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রথিতযশা ব্র্যান্ড, এন জি ও এবং স্টার্ট আপ কোম্পানির সাথে। স্বাগত আমার ওয়েবসাইটে।

Julkernain, creator of #mehdiTooNz on social media is a Bangladeshi cartoonist and content writer. Born in Dhaka, he spent most of his life in Chittagong. He started drawing cartoons at a very early stage of life without knowing the grammar of drawing ( still learning!).

After graduation, he started his career as a translator and content writer in 2013. At the same time, he continued his mission to learn the basics of cartooning from the cartoonist famous at home and abroad.

As a cartoonist, his major breakthrough came in 2021, when he facilitated a workshop on illustration and storytelling for the Rohingya volunteers organized by UNHCR, Brac, Action Aid Bangladesh, and TAI. It was a life-changing experience for him and he could truly feel the power of cartoons for storytelling.
